MSDE Survey Feb 29
On Thursday, February 29th the social studies department will be administering the MSDE Climate survey to students in grades 9-11. State law requires that all public schools in Maryland survey students about school climate. The purpose of the survey is to gain valuable information about the quality and character of each school’s learning environment so that schools can promote a climate that supports student learning.
The survey is confidential and school personnel will not have access to the responses of specific students. The responses your child provides will be combined with the responses from other students in the school, and results will be reported for each school and district.
We are eager to receive this very important information about your student’s school and about schools across the state. Frequently Asked Questions and the Survey Item Bank may be found on the Maryland School Survey page at https://marylandpublicschools.org/marylandschoolsurvey .
Please make sure your student brings their laptop to school on this day to take the survey. ***Dr. Guidry's classes will be taking the survey on Monday, March 4th**
Students - Restart Your Laptops
IT is recommending that staff and students regularly apply Windows Updates and restart their devices at least once a week.

Braves Bucks
Hey Chop Nation! Braves Bucks are rolling out and you might not know how to spend them. Visit the school bank during PRIDE time and use your bucks to purchase any items listed below. Prices are subject to change based on supply and demand, so get down early for the best deals.
Parents - Braves Bucks are something students may earn to reward positive behaviors. Some examples of how a student may earn a Braves Buck is by going to a teacher's classroom during Pride Time for academic assistance or being on time to class during a Blitz. Students may trade in Braves Bucks for items in the "store" located in the School Bank.
