Raider Nation News
Volume 5 Ed. 2
Message from Principal Bob Carnaroli
Thank you all for a great start to our school year. Lots of positivity and good vibes all around. The car rider line will get better each day and bus routes will improve with daily routines.
We have Class Meetings scheduled this week to chat with each grade level about our expectations, rules, safety protocols, tardy policy, and dress code. "Clubapalooza" will be held on Aug 14th during Wellness and Raider Time. We have over 70 clubs and organizations that will be on display for students to learn more about opportunities to enhance their plan for a GREAT year!. Get involved!
I heard this great quote I plan to share with our students from watching the NFL Hall of Fame Inductions on Saturday. Credit to inductee Julius Peppers:
"Whatever it is that you do, do it with respect, integrity, passion, resilience, dedication, and gratitude. That alone will make you a Hall of Fame person.
Your character is what you do:
- It's your decisions.
- It's your actions."

DECA Recruitment
ROTC News:
MCJROTC cadets as well as incoming cadets were busy over the summer.
NFHS MCJROTC has many different volunteer opportunities throughout the school year. Any accumulated service hours will count towards diploma seals and the Civic Service Ribbon. From traffic control to laying wreaths, visiting senior assisted living homes, and assisting those in need, any cadet who is willing to work is welcome to any volunteer opportunity.
These activities not only contribute to personal growth and community betterment but also instill a sense of responsibility and civic duty. Engaging in volunteer work provides cadets with valuable experiences, helps build character, and strengthens leadership skills. We encourage all cadets to participate actively and make a positive impact. Your dedication and efforts in serving the community reflect the true spirit of the Marine Corps values and our commitment to excellence. -Giving back - It's what we do!
