• Arrival Reminder: The school doors do not open until 7:10 AM. Early arrivers stand outside until the building opens.
• Dismissal Reminder: Students must be off campus by 3:15 PM. Walkers and car pick ups must be completed by this time.
• Winter Gear: Send students with coats and accessories needed for the changing weather. If you need assistance with coats, hats, and gloves please email leanna.johnston@ops.org

Inclement Weather Reminders:

8:30 AM - All asynchronous lessons are posted by teachers. Notifications/Reminders about relevant coursework (due dates, current assignment completion, reviews for future assessments) will be provided by this time. No new assignments given. Student attendance will not be recorded on asynchronous days.

8:30-10:30 AM - Office hours for all teachers. Teachers will use this time to provide students and/or guardians an opportunity to meet via Teams. Teachers may create a Bookings link for students to sign up or provide a single Teams link per class for individuals to join as needed. When not engaged with students, parents, or staff, teachers may use this time as planning/prep time.

Think Tank is a competition in creativity, leadership, negotiation, and teamwork. The goal is for your “company” to make the most money by the end of the day.

Each middle school brings students who will work as a team to complete tasks that they choose from the different tables. Each task table has a Secretary which is an OPS staff member. That Secretary will negotiate with the company on the price of each task. The company will try to get top dollar from the Secretary. Then they will take the task back to their table to work on. Each “company” can only have 3 task cards at the table at a time.
