Miles Of Smiles

The Miles Of Smiles, Ltd. The Dentist Program will be visiting Highland Elementary School on Thursday November 21 & 25 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity to make sure your child gets the dental care they need for this school year without an inconvenience to you. It is recommended that everyone receive cleanings every 6 months.

For kindergarten and second grade students, this will fulfill the required dental exam for the school year which is due April 15 2025.

There is NO COST to the family. All insurances are accepted including Medicaid. If you do not have insurance still The Miles Of Smiles would accept the consent form. Dental care includes a complete dental exam, cleaning, fluoride and sealants when necessary.

Join Us for Parent University: Tech Safety Night

Are you looking for ways to ensure your child’s online safety? Join us at Parent University – Tech Safety Night for a valuable and informative evening!

When: Tuesday, December 3rd, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Where: Old Orchard Junior High, 9310 Kenton Ave

This event will feature:

• Expert Guidance: The district tech team will explain parental controls and monitoring tools to help you stay informed and in control of your child’s digital activities.

• Screen Time Tips: Learn practical strategies for managing screen time at home and fostering healthy digital habits.

• Internet Safety Resources: A curated book list on internet safety from the Skokie Library will be available to help guide ongoing conversations with your child.
