Cougar Cub Parent News - Jan 10
Learning is sweet at PGE!
A Message from Ms. Bruhn, Principal
We are so glad to have our Cougar Cubs back in the building. We spent the past two days reviewing learning and behavior expectations. Next week, we will continue with strong instruction to prepare our students for a successful second semester. In the next couple weeks, students in grades PreK-5th grade will be taking some mid-year assessments to show how they are progressing. As a campus we will be focusing on being punctual and having good attendance. We have anywhere between 60-100 tardies a day which significantly impacts teaching and learning. Our doors open at 7:30 and the tardy bell rings at 8:05. We hope you can get your children to school on time.
Please do not park in front of the school on Old South near the bus ramp during 7:00am - 8:30am, 2:30pm - 4:00pm. FBCSO will issue a citation. The signs are in a strange, confusing place and we have asked them to be moved.
Snapshot of Learning
We will highlight different classes or events each week so you can see the amazing learning happening in our classrooms!

Cub Fit Challenge
Coach Lev has distributed the Cub Fit Challenge calendar to students in K-5. This year, the incentive for the students is whichever class in each grade level has the most minutes of activity, they will get to watch their teacher race against the other grade level teachers in a funny inflatable suit.
The challenge runs from Jan. 20th-Feb 20th. Students will have one week to turn it into me. No late calendars will be accepted. Calendars with no names will not count.
An extra copy of the calendar is attached below.
A huge SHOUT out to our business sponsors. Thank you for supporting PGE!
