The Coastal Plain Region of North Carolina
Location
The Coastal Plain Region is located on the Eastern side of North Carolina, on the right of the Piedmont Region.
Climate
North Carolina experiences a lot of different climate throughout it regions; the Coastal Plains have a warmer and more rainy climate. Summer's average a temperature of 90, and the Winter's average in the mid 40's.
Flora
North Carolina has over 4000 native plant species, but here are a few that you might find in the Coastal Plains:
> Hickory
> Orchids
> Sunflowers
> Swamp Mallow
> Venus Flytrap
Fauna
There is also many species of animal in the Coastal Plains Region of NC, such as:

> Atlantic Sturgeon
> Black Duck
> Corn Snake
> Black Bear
