Highlights of the week!

Dear Coleman Families,

Our students had a fantastic week of learning, highlighted by exciting activities and celebrations! We observed Red Ribbon Week with students dressing up and pledging to be drug-free. They all looked amazing and showed great enthusiasm!

Halloween was an extra treat as students participated in voting for the Best Costume during the PTO's Trunk or Treat event. We had a close contest that ended in a tie—Congratulations to Tyler and Donald for winning!

To wrap up the week, our teachers participated in a professional development session on Restorative Practices. These valuable strategies will help foster a supportive classroom culture and encourage understanding of differences among our students.

Thank you for your ongoing support in making Coleman such a vibrant community. We look forward to more great weeks ahead!

District to Host Parent & Community Interactive Design Meetings

Meramec Valley R-III School District invites all parents, staff, students, & community members to learn more about the initial design for a new 7th & 8th grade Middle School. Meetings hosted by Riverbend Middle School will begin at 6 PM on Oct. 22, Nov. 19, and Dec. 17.

Birthday Celebrations

In compliance with our Healthy Generation School goals, Coleman will focus on healthy celebrations. Student birthdays will be recognized on our daily announcements.

To comply with the national health guideline, we do not accept birthday or holiday treats.

*Every student at Coleman Elementary will receive a birthday pencil and card from the office on their birthday.*
