Chromebook Care!
Keep the chrome books BORROWED not BOUGHT!!!
Our students need to take good care of their BORROWED chrome books. Families will be charged for misuse and/or loss. It's $500 to replace one. Please encourage your child to take care of their borrowed chrome books! And if something goes wrong, they can always reach out to their teacher to get it fixed right away and they borrow a loaner.
8th graders!
Eighth graders received BRAND NEW CHROMEBOOKS LAST WEEK! The students were all told to take really good care of them, they will have them until their senior year at Freedom. And chromebooks that are broken due to misuse, will come with a $500 price tag! Take good care of them and you will have a nice piece of equipment to work with over the years!

BASD Report Card Grading Update
BASD Families:
Bethlehem Area School District is updating our Report Card Grading System for Grades 6-12 for the 2023-2024 School Year. The updated report card represents our primary aim: to improve our communication about student achievement toward learning goals with you. Elementary student report cards will remain the same. We wanted to share with you information on the new report card. Please take a moment to watch this video as Dr. Maureen Leeson, Assistant Superintendent and Chief Academic Officer, explains the updates to the report card and the changes you will see on this year’s report card.
