We are looking for a group of parent volunteers to coordinate the 5th Grade Promotion. Ideally, we’d love to have approximately 10 parents involved, preferably 4th-grade parents, so that 5th-grade parents can fully enjoy the evening with their child. If you have any extra plastic bags at home, Nurse Jennifer would greatly appreciate them! Please consider sending any spare bags to the school to support her needs. Thank you for your help in keeping our school well-prepared!

Officer Haves will begin teaching DARE to our 5th-grade students next week. We are excited to have someone in our building full-time who can teach our students about this important program.

DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) is a comprehensive program that equips students with the knowledge and skills to resist peer pressure, avoid drugs, and make positive life choices. It focuses on building self-esteem, developing communication skills, and fostering decision-making abilities to lead a safe and healthy lifestyle.

Do you know someone who loves being around children and enjoys a flexible work schedule? We are looking for a Designated Substitute for our school! The pay is $155 per day, and it's a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact in our students' lives. If you or someone you know is interested, please encourage them to apply. We'd love to have someone who shares our passion for education and fun!

As you may know, the Boil Water Notice has been extended. We want to assure you that we have plenty of bottled water available in our buildings for students and staff. However, we kindly ask that you continue to send a water bottle with your child through. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this time.

Spirit wear sales are here! From now through October 11, get your CES spirit wear gear, house t-shirts, and stickers! You can also join the PTA if you haven't already. Visit our shop to stock up on:

Spirit wear items are made to order, so shirts and stickers will be ready and sent home with your student in early November. Memberships are tracked online and effective immediately upon ordering. All sales help the CES PTA support our teachers and students!
