As your outgoing principal, I'd like to welcome NeCole Hernandez to the head principal role at Rendezvous next year. NeCole has been the principal at Ashgrove Elementary for a number of years, and is a tremendous fit to lead the merger of Jackson and Rendezvous into an eventual K-5 building. Next year, as many of you know, all district 5th graders will attend Rendezvous. There will be 4 sections of 4th grade, and 4 sections of 3rd grade. The year after next, Rendezvous will take on Jackson's Boost/K-2 classrooms to become a K-5.
Thank you for your unwavering support and encouragement throughout my tenure at FCSD#25. I will cherish countless precious memories from my time here. One of the highlights has been the joy of having siblings over the years. It has been a privilege to celebrate student achievements, tackle challenging situations, and collaborate with such a committed and skilled team. These experiences will always hold a special place in my heart.
Please enjoy a safe and happy summer.
