Message from the Principal
Happy Last Day of School to My Mason Family!
What an amazing week this has been and what a wonderful school year to celebrate all of our incredible students! Our dynamic team of educators went above and beyond to make this week special, creatively celebrating our students' in many ways with field trips, classroom award ceremonies, parties, etc. to highlight our students' hard work, growth, and success with enthusiasm and excitement! Here are some highlights that made this week truly memorable:
- Kindergarten Visits: Our Kindergarten students had an exciting visit to the first-grade classrooms, preparing for their big transition next year. The joy and curiosity on their faces were heartwarming!
Fourth Grade Promotion: We were overjoyed to celebrate our fourth-grade students with a heartfelt promotion ceremony this week. A special shout-out to Mr. and Mrs. Feikens for their incredible generosity in sponsoring a delicious breakfast for our fourth graders! Students enjoyed pancakes, eggs, and more, made right on our school blacktop by the Feikens, along with the support of our dedicated PTO members. We are extremely proud of our fourth-grade students and their achievements. Congratulations to them and all the families on their promotion to middle school. Seeing everyone at the promotion ceremony, celebrating as one big Mason family, was truly inspiring!
Super U Assembly: Our students participated in the Super U Assembly, where they were reminded to always display the leader in them, build trust with others, and demonstrate honesty and teamwork. A huge thanks to our PTO for sponsoring this fun and engaging assembly.
Mason Best Assemblies: We wrapped up the year with our final Mason Best Assemblies, recognizing and applauding our students for all their remarkable accomplishments. Excitement filled the air as students were recognized and celebrated in various ways!
Artsonia Recognizes Mason's Art Program: A special shoutout to our Mason art teachers Ms. Zoufal and Ms. Eichorst along with our talented students for reaching the 5K artwork milestone! Our teachers and students have worked hard to build a gallery with over 5,000 pieces of student artwork, which is amazing!
Special Recognitions: I want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the teachers, staff, and volunteers who made this year unforgettable. Your dedication and passion have been the driving force behind our students' success. To our amazing PTO, thank you for your unwavering support and for making so many events possible. Your contributions have enriched our school community in countless ways. To all of our amazing Mason fathers, Happy Father's Day! I hope you enjoy this weekend feeling appreciated for all that you do!
