BIG TOP KIDS

We hope your summer has been filled with lots of fun so far! It was great getting to see so many of you last month at boys and girls laser tag nights! This month we have even more things going on at Homestead and in Big Top Kids. Make sure to check out all these event in the "Upcoming Events" section of the newsletter.

In June, we kicked off our summer giving challenge! The kids set giving goals and are already coming up with so many creative ways to raise money for Casa Shalom Orphanage.

We gave the kids a special challenge this time around: The 50/50 Challenge! Any kid who raises $50 is entered into a drawing to be the one to dump picnic foods on Pastor Brent and Pastor Anna. If 50 kids raise $50, every kid will get popsicles on Picnic a Pastor day (August 18).

Here are some ways kids have been raising money this summer:

• Margo had a lemonade stand
• Luke and Eli did yard work.
• Kinsley and Madison had a lemonade stand

Things to pray about for Casa Shalom:

• Safety for all the children as they go to school each day (rain is causing mudslides)
• That all the kids stay healthy, study hard, and are obedient
• For all the kids who are adoptable to be adopted

Home Crew is an opportunity for 4th and 5th graders to grow in their faith, leadership, and relationships by getting more involved in the ministry of Big Top Kids. Home Crew helps in many areas of Big Top Kids and also meets a few times a year for Home Crew Hangouts.

Click HERE to sign your child up for the Big Top Kids Worship Team. This opportunity is open to any kids in 1st-5th grade. Kids will be scheduled to lead actions from the stage during weekend services.
