March 17-21, 2025
Wickman’s Multicultural Celebration was a huge success! The rainy weather caused us to move the festivities indoors, but thanks to our hardworking volunteers we were able to transition quickly. So many people contributed their time, talents, and traditions to make this event possible. We truly appreciate every one of you!
We are extra thankful to our event leader, Irene Cheng, our PTO, and our student volunteers from Ayala and Chino Hills High Schools. We want to thank Mr. John Ramirez for sharing his artistic talent in creating our passports and Eric Gundersen for bringing his sound system and being a fantastic sound manager for the evening. It was heartwarming to welcome home our former Wickman Principal, Dr. Wilson. She really enjoyed visiting all of our Wildcats.
We came together to honor the incredible diversity that makes our school and community so special. Our world is a beautiful tapestry of cultures, traditions, and languages, and events like these allow us to celebrate, learn, and appreciate the richness that each of us brings.
Whether through music, dance, or food, we appreciate the opportunity to embrace the beauty of different backgrounds and strengthen the bonds that unite us.
Next week is Spring Break and on behalf of the entire Wickman staff we wish everyone a fun and relaxing break.
Sincerely,
Emily Lao

Parking Lot Safety is Always a Priority
Parking Lot Reminders:
We are each responsible for keeping our parking lot safe. When everyone follows the procedures, our drop-off's and pick-up's run much smoother. We thank you for putting in the extra few minutes it takes to follow the rules. It really does make a huge difference for the safety of our students. Many of our potential accidents and "near misses" occur when students are arriving late. Please, continue to follow the procedures , especially in those final minutes before the gates close. Some points to remember:
- Students should exit/enter cars from the passenger side doors. Please don't ask your children to walk into the drive through lane traffic to enter/exit your car.
- All students should use the safety walking path to avoid the very busy driveways.
The green arrows, illustrated above, show the path cars must follow. Student drop off may only take place when you reach the area with red arrows.
Walkers must follow the safety walking path which is to the right of the green arrows above.
Please understand that if a staff member asks you to follow the procedures, it is for the safety of our students.
Thank you
