Westboro School Council and Parents' Society Volunteer Opportunity
Our School Council and Parents' Society is looking to fill the following role:
Treasurer
Our school Parents' Society also needs a Treasurer to help oversee the financial side of our activities. The Treasurer plays a key role in budgeting, tracking funds, and ensuring our council remains financially transparent. If you have a background in finance or simply a knack for numbers, we would love for you to join us!
This position offers a chance to directly contribute to the success of our school and build stronger connections with other parents and staff. If you’re interested or would like more information, please reach out to us at westboroparents@gmail.com. Your support is essential in continuing to provide quality programs for our children.

Offspring Studios - Sibling Sessions!
We are pleased to offer outdoor sibling photo sessions on Friday, October 4th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Smeltzer House (1 Broadmoor Blvd, Sherwood Park.) These photo sessions will be 10 minutes long and are free of charge, but you must book your time slot!

Read In Week: October 7-11 Calling All Readers!
In honour of Read In Week, from October 7 – 11, Westboro has a number of exciting things planned to celebrate literacy! If you have some time available, we would like to invite you to reach out to your student’s teacher to book a time to be a guest reader in their classroom, by October 4th. You might like to read a favorite book to the class, or listen to some of our amazing readers read some of their favorites!
Welcome Mrs. Meier, Educational Assistant, to STEPS!
Her role as an Educational Assistant will be to work closely with the STEPS team to support classroom activities, assist students with their learning, and ensure each child receives the attention they need to succeed.
We are confident that Mrs. Meier will make the classroom an even more engaging and joyful place for our students.
Please join us in giving Mrs. Meier a warm welcome as she embarks on this new journey with our school. We are excited to see the wonderful things she will help our STEPS students achieve!

School Fees are now posted to your PowerSchool Parent Portal
School fee information for the 2024-25 school year is now posted on the PowerSchool Parent Portal. All fees are due within 30 days of being posted. NOTE: Additional fees may be added throughout the year—for example as your child takes part in various activities. If you’re unable to pay your school fees, you can apply to have certain fees waived. The application deadline is Dec. 16, 2024.
