Principal's Message

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for helping make the first week of the new school year a great success! The students have settled in wonderfully, and we are looking forward to an exciting year ahead.

Please be reminded that traffic tends to be quite heavy during the first couple of weeks. To help alleviate congestion, we encourage you to drop off your child early.

Additionally, the first page of the Student Planner is due on Monday, August 12. Please ensure that both you and your child have initialed and signed it.

We begin iReady testing this week and are eager to see where the students are at so their instruction can be tailored to meet their needs. It is important for students to take the test seriously because it helps their teachers better understand where they are starting academically and ensure that they plan accordingly to ensure all students' success this school year. It would be very helpful if at home, you could encourage your child to do their best on the assessment.

We are also excited to announce that Intramural Volleyball will begin soon! Permission slips will be available starting Monday, August 12. Please note that participation is limited to the first 100 students. Intramural volleyball will take place from 2:30 to 4:00 PM on Tuesdays through Thursdays, beginning Tuesday, August 20.

PTSA Association for Summit

It's that time again to renew your PTSA membership. In order to qualify for the popsicle, the students must be signed up for the PTSA membership. Scan the QR code to sign up or you can use the link and then log in to the totem account.

Come and learn more about our PTSA. We will be in the MPR at membership table during during Back to School Night.

We will hold our first Association Meeting in the MPR at Back To School Night from 5:45 - 6:00 PM.
