Congratulations to all of our students for participating and competing at the Michigan BPA 2023 SLC.
You represented our chapter, our school, and our district very well!
Nineteen students placed in the top 7 and made it on stage with 15 eligible to advance to the NLC in Anaheim, CA this April.
Spelling Bee Winner
Congratulations to SAMS very own Yuhan (Jade) Hu for her 1st place finish in the Upper Peninsula Spelling Bee at Negaunee High School.
Space Shell 6 STEM Team Sends Project Into Space
Sault Area Public School students Siri Olson, Zahraa Mahmud, Taylor Meilstrup, Cierra Aikens, Claire Parks, and Evelyn Weber of the SPACE SHELL 6 STEM team were selected to launch their winning project into space as part of the state-wide Higher Orbits competition promoted by Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District (EUPISD), Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC), and Lake Superior State University (LSSU).
State Solo & Ensemble
Congratulations to Olivia Martin, Molly Wolfe, and Katie Anderson on earning their Division I (Superior) and Division II (Excellent) Ratings at State Solo & Ensemble in Marquette!
