First Day Reminders!
1. Be sure to log in to StudentVue to acknowledge your Student Rights and Responsibilities and check your schedule. We have had a lot of new students register so we are still making scheduling adjustments.
2. Check StudentVue for your bus information if you are a bus rider. It can be found on the Student Info page.
3. Be sure to bring your Chromebook tomorrow (fully charged) and your charger. New students to Belmont will receive a Chromebook and charger this week.
4. Decide if you are packing lunch or purchasing lunch. Remember that there is a fee for breakfast and lunch. Here is the lunch menu and information regarding lunch accounts
5. The doors to the school building open at 8:20 am and classes start promptly at 8:50 am. We do not have staff to supervise students prior to 8:20 am. This means students cannot enter the schoolhouse until 8:20 am unless they have a pre-scheduled appointment with a staff member. If you arrive between 8:20 am and 8:45 am, you will wait in your Welcome Zone.

8th grade - Auditorium
6. Bus Riders and walkers will enter the building through the front doors. Car riders will enter the building through the side doors.
7. Remember you need to plan on using your lockers this year. You are able to carry a small string bag or purse with you.

10. Come to school ready to learn and have fun!

LCPS secondary schools operate on a fixed A and B day calendar. This means that all school days are designated either an A day or a B day at the beginning of the school year, and that designation does not change, even if school is closed due to the weather or other emergency. When students return to school, the A/B designation for that date will be the same as if the closing never happened.
- Example: Suppose Monday is an A day, and Tuesday is a B day. It snows on Monday, and school is closed. When students return to school on Tuesday, it is a B day. (In previous years, Tuesday would have been an A day).
