Congratulations to our Art Teacher, Mrs. Wegner! She was presented with a $500 check at Friday Flag. She was selected for a $500 Teacher Grant being awarded by North Island Credit Union Foundation to use towards future class art projects. From among hundreds of submissions, her application was selected based on how well it addressed the grant selection criteria in addition to the clarity in which you presented the objectives and benefits of your project.

We are proud to recognize Andrea Rodriguez Chamberlin as our Volunteer of the Year. As Director of Fundraising and a dedicated Foundation Board member, Andrea has transformed our school’s fundraising efforts through creativity, hard work, and deep community engagement. From launching key events like the Wildcat Run and Holiday Shop to applying for 25 grants and securing support from over 180 businesses, her impact is extraordinary. Andrea’s leadership, professionalism, and genuine passion have strengthened our school community and inspired us all.

We are celebrating Pomerado's amazing teachers and staff all this week from May 5th-9th. The teachers and staff will be treated to goodies all week long from PAWs. Here are some ways your students can show their appreciation with our CAMP Theme Week.
MONDAY- 👚 Camp Colors- Wear a Pomerado staff member or teacher's favorite color
TUESDAY
- 🪴 Bring a Pomerado staff member or teacher a flower or plant
WEDNESDAY
- 🎨 Write a card/letter or draw a picture for a staff member or teacher
- 📒 Bring a school supply or office supply item to a teacher or staff member
- 🍨 Celebrate your favorite teacher or staff member with a small gift or treat.

Pomerado Elementary Kids Night Out at Impact Martial Arts
Enjoy an evening out on Saturday, May 17th while your kids have a blast at Impact Martial Arts. The studio will serve pizza, have martial arts training, games and a movie between 5pm-9pm. The cost is $35 per child and $20 for additional siblings. 100% of proceeds will go back to our school. Use this link to register your child/children.
