September is here!
Greetings Gators!
I am very pleased to announce that we have a new Choral Teacher, Liam Hart, who will be starting at MSMS this week! We are so excited to have bring his vocal talents and passion to support our students who are in choir. I will have a full intro in the next Gator News!
What are some of the things I saw around our building last week?
ALL the ART! (Check the hallways down stairs and on the Main Level! Thanks Sarah & our Gator Artists!)
7/8 Humanities team having great conversations about curriculum & keeping inclusive language at the forefront!
Playing a game in TA with Wendy’s class where I got to be the one that double-crossed students
More Friday Emails Home from 7/8 students shared with me stating they had a GREAT week! (A new weekly highlight for me and my inbox!)
Celebrations across the building creating a positive school culture!
5th & 6th Graders and their teachers playing with John Hammond on team building exercises.
Spanish 7 students practiced their sentences and were excited about joining a fun parachute game at the end of class!
A well behaved school community that ran our first fire drill really successfully! Gators aren’t afraid of a little rain!
Sustainability Crew donating their goods to the Montpelier Food Shelf.
Mr Appel cultivated strong scientists through a fun observation activity! Yes, I joined in!
Canine Superhero Coda making his debut at MSMS with Britta Hock!
Our MSMS Soccer Teams making strong strikes against Barre City #GoGators!
An amazing staff that continues to work hard, make space to support one another & our students.
