D93 Weekly Family Update

Thanks to everyone who shared your thoughts about our school calendar last week. Here are the results from those survey questions. Based on this feedback, our proposed school calendar will include the following dates:
- First day: Monday, Aug 28, 2022
- Last day: Thursday, May 30, 2023
- Thanksgiving: Monday, Nov 20 - Friday, Nov 24
- Spring Break: Monday, Apr 1 - Friday, Apr 5
- Christmas Break:
- First day: Monday, Aug 28, 2023
- Last day: Thursday, May 30, 2023
- Thanksgiving: Monday, Nov 20 - Friday, Nov 24
- Spring Break: Monday, Apr 1 - Friday, Apr 5
- Christmas Break: We will recommend Friday, Dec. 22nd - Sunday, Jan. 7th for next year.
- Teacher Collaboration days: We will share the feedback we received from parents and teachers about teacher collaboration with the School Board to determine whether to continue this on Mondays or move it to Fridays as well as whether to move the elementary schedule to weekly half days.

This week's episode of D93 News spotlights the enrichment activities that are held each week at Bonneville Online Elementary.
Weekly Schedule
In addition to the election for state and local offices, the November election will include two questions for D93 residents:
- Renew our annual $5.8M supplemental levy?
- Authorize the use of $1.5M in savings from the 2018 Bond for other capital improvements?
You can go to voteidaho.gov to find your polling place and make sure that you are registered to vote. Online voter registration is now closed, so if you need to register, please visit the Bonneville County Elections Office at 497 N. Capital Ave, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to register or to participate in early in-person voting.
D93 Get Help Line
Students, parents, and employees can reach out for help with bullying, harassment, suicidal tendencies, self-harm, threats, or to report weapons at school by going to d93.org/gethelp or sending the text @gethelp to 855-528-0074.
STEM Opportunity for High School Students
High school juniors may apply for the Idaho science and aerospace scholars STEM program. Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, November 1st.
