Theater Season is Here!

The curtain is up on our 24-25 theater season at PMS!

We kick off our theater year with 6 weeks of Drama Club, starting Tuesday the 10th of September. We will either have a group of up to 25 kids who meet two times per week, or if we have a larger group of interested students, we will divide into two smaller classes, with one group meeting Tuesdays and one group meeting Thursdays. Students MUST be registered to participate. Students who have not registered but show up for drama club on the 10th will be sent home until their registration is complete.

to register, and registration for drama club is $20, while registration for involvement in the musical is $41.

Auditions for our musical, Singin in the Rain, Jr. happen September 30th and October 1st after school in the cafeteria.

A meeting for students interested in participating in tech crew (costumes, props, set, hair and makeup, front of house/ticketing/publicity/concessions) will happen Monday October 21st.

A company meeting (all cast and crew, and a parent or guardian from each family) will happen Monday October 28th at 5:30 pm.

Rehearsals for the musical will begin the first week in November and run through January. Performances will occur January 29th-February 1 2025.

New Technology Guidelines for the 2024-25 School Year!

After careful consideration and research, we have decided to implement “No Personal Technology Guidelines” during the instructional day at our middle schools. Under these new guidelines, students may not use their personal devices (such as cell phones, airpods, bluetooth headphones, smartwatches, etc.) during the instructional day from 9:20 am - 4:05 pm. All students are provided a locker with a lock for storing their personal items. Reasonable accommodations will be made for students with documented medical, IEP or 504 needs.
