Thanksgiving Celebration
A big thank you to Father Jack from St. Albert Catholic Parish for leading us in our Thanksgiving Celebration on Tuesday morning! We are so blessed to be able to share our celebrations with our local Parish Priest. Learning, knowing and living the Gospel is a journey we are all on. We pray that our students will learn the Word of God and use it in the world to make a difference!
We have been talking about gratitude and thankfulness this week as we reflect on our many blessings. Friends, family, pets, sports, food, activities - the simple things in life bring joy and happiness to our little ones.

ALL SAINTS DAY
All Saints Day is celebrated on November 1st.
On Nov. 2, All Souls Day, we remember those who have died believing in the resurrection and in life everlasting.
As November is the month of Remembrance, we will have our Book of Remembrance on our front prayer table, starting on October 23, for students, staff & families to record the names of family and friends who have died in the past year.
We will also be creating a display in our school to honour our deceased loved ones. We invite students and staff to bring pictures (preferably mounted or framed) and/or small mementos of any family members or friends who have died. They will be reverently displayed and will serve as a reminder of these loved ones and our call to pray for them. Please write your child's name on the back of the picture or memento so that we can return them at the end of November. Please bring these photos to classroom teachers. Thank you!
