Message From the Principal
Dear Tuffree community,
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with the families that you were born into and the families you chose. We are back at it and firing on all cylinders. In the next week, we begin our big PTA fundraiser, instumental music has their winter concert at the PAC, flag football begins, our holiday dance takes place and we receive our CA Schools to Watch redesignation visit. Amidst all of these opportunities, we've still got fantastic teaching and learning taking place. The time I'm able to spend in classrooms with our students is always the highlight of my day. I'm consistently amazed at the insight and abilities of our students.
We officially have nine days of school until the end of the quarter. Please be sure to check-in with your student to ensure they get any lingering assignments in. Remember, you can check Aeries at any time to check-in on grades and missing assignments. If you are unable to login, don't hesitate to contact us in the office for support. Finally, December is International Persons with Disabilities Month. More information on our recognition of that can be found below.
Enthusiastically,
Sarah Barton, Principal

Office Reminders
Health Office: Please remind students to go to the health office if they do not feel well. Our health clerk will assess and contact home if needed. Students are not to be using their phones during school hours, and if they text you to pick them up, then we are unaware that there is a sick student on campus and it becomes a safety concern.
School Calendar: The school calendar can be found here.
Daily Attendance: Every day counts when it comes to student attendance. Students must maintain good attendance to achieve academic success. When a student is absent, please contact the attendance office.
