Each month, Simpson students focus on developing specific character traits. Students learn what it looks like to exhibit these traits and are recognized for demonstrating them inside and outside of the classroom. January's character trait was "integrity." Congratulations to January's Bulldogs of the Month: Trey M., Ari P., Karrter E., Jese S., Kennedy M., Giovanna U., Remy J., Kamden W., Malia C., Theo P., Penelope V., Bodie B., Khloe W., Sydney R., Chloe R., Savannah S., and Reagan D.

Students will focus on "caring and kindness" as the character trait for the month of February.

The Simpson ASB will be selling Valentine Grams at lunch time February 10 - February 13.

$1 each or 6 for $5. All Valentine Grams will be delivered to classrooms on Friday, February 14.

If your child is absent, please excuse the absence in one of the following ways:

• Call the school office at 360-249-4331.

All absences must be excused within 24 hours. Acceptable excuses for student absences include: illness, medical/dental appointments, family emergency, bereavement, and religious occasions. Other reasons may be excused at the discretion of the school principal.

The Montesano PTO is hosting a Family Skate Night at the Harborena on Thursday, February 13, 6:00-8:00 p.m. The cost is $4 per person. Check on the Montesano PTO Facebook page for details!
