Reading - identify the author's purpose and making connections while reading a traditional tale: a legend.

Math - write and solve math problems by subtracting within 100 by using open number lines and break apart a 2 digit number into tens and ones.

Social Studies - identify and explain the elements of our environment

Science - experiment with materials to create unpoppable bubbles
