October Newsletter
September was a busy month with students getting used to their classes. We celebrated our Grandparents during a light breakfast on September 6th. We were excited to honor our First Responders on September 11th with a wonderful parade and breakfast. We celebrated Diez y Seis de Septiembre by wearing our Fiesta attire. We also took our School Pictures, held a prayer at the pole and read wonderful stories about Johnny Appleseed. September was busy! October looks to be just as busy. Be sure to take note of the many happenings below.
As always, please contact our school office with any questions or concerns. 830-278-1350.
Raise Craze Fundraiser
Raise Craze is a meaningful, interactive fundraiser where students collect donations online via a secure, custom website then show their appreciation by serving others and completing random acts of kindness. In other words, students spend time serving, not selling!
So why did we pick Raise Craze and how is it different from other fundraisers? There are many reasons but here are a few highlights:
• Reinforces kindness in the classroom and improves the culture of our school.
• Everyone can participate by completing Acts of Kindness. No one is left out!
Be on the lookout for your child's packet with information on setting up their dashboard. We will have a soft launch on Report Card Night. See you there!
Annual Gala - Western Disco
We are in the planning stages for our Annual Gala on November 16, 2024. We are having weekly meetings to get things ready. If you would like to be part of the planning, be sure to watch Class Dojo for meeting times. Be on the look out for an information packet of how you can help - it is teal.
