Seeking Snack Donations
Snacks needed for the K-2 class! Anyone willing to donate healthy, prepackaged snacks or fruit for the youngest-among us who don’t have snacks from home? Please drop off to MB’s classroom.
YMCA Extra Food Over School Breaks
Jefferson County young adults (up to age 24) and families with children (ages 0-18) can get extra help with food over the upcoming Winter Break.
The YMCA has pop-up, build-your-own food boxes again -- at 4 different sites throughout the county, on Thurs., Dec. 19 (Brinnon/Quil.) and Fri., Dec., 20 (Tri-Area/PT). Participants may choose from a wide variety of highly nutritious foods for the entire household. Thanks to a generous donor, during this longer break we will also offer a $25/household gift card for Safeway or Chimacum Farmstand. If you know of youth/young adults/families who may need extra food over the break, please feel free to pass on our intake survey to them: https://forms.gle/aigUWuFkUyLqmvrn6 (English) or https://forms.gle/5vAtjuSxPrCviv8k6 (Spanish).

This January, the PT PTA will be hosting the 2nd annual Hi-Viz Party! Join the PT PTA Today!
Thanks to the support of parents, families, teachers, staff, and community members, the PT PTA had a great swell of support and membership growth last school year. We are on track to go even further this year with 50 members in September alone! THANK YOU to everyone for choosing to support the PT PTA and help create and engaged school community!
If you have not joined yet this school year, do so today so you can make your voice heard at our upcoming membership meeting. As a reminder, PTA membership must be renewed each school year.
From volunteering to organizing activities to simply making a donation or becoming a member, everyone's involvement makes a difference. The State PTA has changed platforms, so the process is a little less clunky :)
Recyclery Holiday Bike Giveaway
This year on December 21 from 12-6pm, the Recyclery will be holding a Holiday Party & Kids Bike Drive at The ReCyclery.
If you or anyone you know has a person in their network in need of a free bicycle, please put me in contact with them (nick@ptrecyyclery.org). The only thing that I will ask is that each recipient fills out this application:
In as much as this is a request, this is an invitation. We will be celebrating the holidays and giving away bikes to young people. We will be providing gifts, food, and drinks to anyone in attendance.
