May Moments

MAP and EOC Testing Continues

May 1st and 2nd--MAP Testing for 3rd-5th grades in Math

May 5th--6th grade English , 8th grade Math, and 11th grade Government tests

May 6th--6th grade Math, 8th grade English, and Biology tests

May 7th--7th grade English, 8th grade Science, and Algebra 1 tests

May 8th--7th grade Math, and 10th grade English II tests

Celebrations

K-5 Trip to Rush Funplex

On Wednesday May 7th, our K-5th grade students will travel to the Rush Funplex for their year end celebration. Thanks to the Cainsville PTO for sponsoring this trip for our students.

6-11 Trip

Our 6th-11th grade students will journey to the Rush Funplex on Wednesday May 14th for a day of celebrating the many joys of this school year. A BIG shoutout to the Cainsville PTO for sponsoring this trip for students as well.

8th Grade Graduation

Help us celebrate!

The 2025 8th Grade Class of the Cainsville R-1 School District requests the honor of your presence at their 8th grade graduation on Thursday May 15th. 8th grade graduation will take place at the end of the 1 pm awards assembly. Cake an punch will be served after the ceremony. Students will be recognized as they prepare for the final leg of their journey at Cainsville--HIGH SCHOOL!

Seniors Last Day and Graduation

The end of an era

Our 2025 Seniors last day will be Friday May 2nd. Students will leave on Sunday May 4th for Florida on Senior Trip and return Thursday afternoon May 8th. Graduation practice is at 10 am on Friday May 9th with Commencement at 5:30 pm on Friday May 9th.

East Harrison Athletic Banquet

2024-2025 Athletic/Activities Banquet

On Tuesday May 13th at 6 pm in Ridgeway we will have our East Harrison Athletics and Activities Banquet. This is a time for students, coaches, sponsors, and family to come together and celebrate the hard work our young people put into their extra-curricular activities. Guests are asked to bring a side dish to be shared with those in attendance.

Awards Day

Thursday May 15th

Join us for our 6-11 grade awards day on Thursday May 15th at 1 pm.

Help us celebrate our K-5 students during awards day on Friday May 15th at 2 pm.

Field Day and Last Day of School

Friday May 16th

Our last day of school will be Friday May 16th. Field Day will be the main focus of the day with school dismissing early at 12:50.
