Spring Testing Scores Are Coming Home
Spring testing scores are ready! Students will receive their individual score reports in their Connections class on Monday, December 18th. Please check with your student to review their results together.
These scores provide valuable insights into student progress and areas of growth, and we encourage families to take some time to discuss them. If you have any questions about the report, feel free to reach out to your student’s teacher or the main office.
Support Our Student Author Nateli Sanderson Holiday Book Sale
We are excited to share that one of our talented students, Nateli Sanderson, has published a book titled "Tokitae"! In the spirit of the holidays, Natel is looking to make some extra money to buy Christmas gifts for their family and would greatly appreciate your support.
How You Can Help:
- Purchase Online: You can buy "Tokitae" directly from Amazon here.
- Buy In Person: Stop by the main office to purchase a copy of "Tokitae." Buying in person means Nateli receives all proceeds from the sale.
Let's come together as a community to support Natel's creative endeavor and make this holiday season special for their family!
Thank you for your generosity and encouragement of our students' talents.
NICC Students Shine in Leadership and Community Building
Our Native Indigenous Cultural Club (NICC) students have been making meaningful connections and stepping into leadership roles this year! From wearing their new club logo shirts to participating in impactful NAYLA field trips, these students are building pride and fostering connection within their club and beyond.
On their most recent NAYLA field trip, Ms. Pascal and Mrs. Wahington had the opportunity to watch students take the lead, engaging in thoughtful conversations and actively participating with students from other districts. With so many new members this year, it’s been inspiring to see this growth and leadership in action.
Host an International Exchange Student!
Looking for a way to make the world feel a little smaller? CIEE (Council on International Educational Exchange) is seeking host families for high school exchange students arriving in Fall 2025! Host families provide a loving home, meals, and support, while students bring their own spending money, insurance, and enthusiasm for a cultural exchange.
Highlights of Hosting:
- Students speak good English and have personal spending money.
- They attend the local high school and can use school transportation.
- Host durations are flexible: 8 weeks, a semester, or a full school year.
- $200 thank-you gift if you refer a family who hosts!
Meet a few students eager to come to the USA:
- Federico (Italy): A tech enthusiast who loves BMX, skiing, and exploring new cultures.
- Martina (Spain): An easygoing figure skater who loves children and learning new recipes.
- Ravi (Germany): An active basketball player who loves cooking and making people laugh.
