TREASURE MAP
MAY 2ND 2025

FROM THE DESK OF MR. LEFFERT
Purple Honor Roll's Sweet and Salty Snack. Students who earned a 3.5-3.99 GPA last quarter secured their place on the Quarter 3 Purple Honor Roll and will be receiving their certificate and their Candy and Chips during lunch on May 6th. This also applies to those students who opted in to receiving this reward instead of the Principal's Pizza Party.
White Honor Roll's Doughnut Party. Students who earned 3.0-3.49 GPA last quarter secured their place on the Quarter 3 White Honor Roll and will be able to come to the library to receive their certificate and their donut in the library before school starts on May 7th. This also applies to those students who opted in to receiving this reward instead of the Principal's Pizza Party or the Purple Honor Roll Sweet and Salty Snack. Doors open at 7:10, so students can stop by anytime between then and 7:28. Just make sure you are in class on time!
Principal's Pizza Party. Students who earned a 4.0 GPA last quarter secured their place on the Quarter 3 Principal's Honor Roll and are invited to a pizza party during their lunch on May 9th. Due to the number of students that attained this honor roll, lunches will be separated by team and grade level so that we can fit into the library for this celebration. Eligible students will be able to proceed directly to the library at the start of their lunch to join the celebration.
Thank you to our NJHS students for coordinating these recognitions in our building and promoting academic success among our students.
In addition to the Honor Roll celebrations, we will have our final Student of the Month celebration during 4th hour on May 7th.

NOTES FROM NURSE AMY
- It is enrollment time!! Please make sure if your student has some sort of medical condition that you list it in during the health information section when completing enrollment (ex: asthma, epilepsy, allergies, indigestion). Nothing is too small to be listed here. If it is important to you as a parent, it is important to me as a nurse. You are always more than welcome to reach out to me to discuss health matters in person as well. I would be more than happy to set up time, just let me know!
- If your student will need to take a medication during the school day, (epi pen, inhaler, supplemental ADHD medication), the following form will need to be completed and signed by a physician: Prescription Medication Form
- If your student has a food allergy, the following form needs to be completed and signed off by a physician: Medical Statement to Request Meal Modification
- ATTENTION PARENTS OF CURRENT 6th GRADE STUDENTS, as your student transitions into 7th grade, there are two additional immunizations that are required which are the Tdap and Meningococcal vaccines. Please ensure your student has received these vaccinations prior to the start of the 2025-2026 school year and a current copy of your student's vaccination record has been provided to office staff/nurse or is uploaded as an attachment in Skyward.
- End of the year and medications: I will be sending out emails to parents whose students have medication that will need to be returned home for summer over the next couple of weeks so plans for pick up can be made.
