Season of Gratitude
Ms. Howles’ Kindergarten class made adorable thankful turkey puppets, each sharing what they’re grateful for this season. Great job, young artists!
WBMS Fall Testing Celebration
Middle School 1st Quarter Success
Students rotated between different activities, including Chromebook games, crafts, line dancing, karaoke, board games, and more! It was a fun-filled day celebrating students' success in the first quarter.

United We Walk January 19
The oratorical contest for students in grades 6-12 and the button contest for students in grades K-5 are open now! Please save the date for a wonderful, free community event Sunday, January 19. We start at 2 p.m. with the presentation where our oratorical and button contest winners will be honored. We walk at 3 p.m. (inside West Bloomfield Middle School in inclement weather). And we participate in community service and children's activities after the walk. We hope you will join us that day as we keep the spirit of Dr. King alive. This year's theme is Continuing the Dream: Building Bridges of Unity.

WBHS Students are Feeling Thankful
Did you know WBHS offers American Sign Language? Student Kylee Cross created a video to display her gratitude for WB staff.
How did A Midsummer Night's Dream fair at the high school??! Well, it was absolutely amazing, and a huge hit!! You will quickly fall in love with Shakespeare and with these extremely talented WBHS students. Meet the FIRST 2024-2025 WBHS Robotics Team
Team Atomigators
Students create, build, and program robots to complete in exciting, themed challenges as they work alongside WBHS Teacher Francis Muylaert (aka Buddy) and build workforce skills.
Attention 1st - 3rd Grade Parents
FIRST Lego League EXPLORE makes learning STEM and coding skills fun! All skill levels are welcome!
STUDENT SEASON THEME: Using creative thinking and LEGO technology to explore the layers of the ocean as they “sea” into the future.
If you and your child are interested in participating, please join us for a Parent Info Meeting via Zoom on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 7-7:30 p.m. The Zoom meeting is to provide parents with basic information about the FLL Explore Program.

Program Highlights:
-Students will work in teams of 6, with 1 or 2 parent coaches per team
-Team Meetings will begin in late Jan/early February
-Ten meetings total, plus the LakerBot Event (Showcase Event in April, date TBD).
-One 90 minute in-person meeting per week at Doherty, Gretchko, Sheiko, and Scotch directly after school
-Each school will have 1 "Teacher Leader" as a facilitator, however, we will need 1-2 parent volunteer for every 6 students to help coach teams. The number of volunteers will determine the number of teams we will offer. Guarantee your child's participation by volunteering to coach.

Main Library Meeting Room
Take a sweet trip to Candy Land in this LIFE-SIZED version of the classic children's board game. Kids of all ages are invited to play with their family and friends. Arrive at Candy Castle and you win! But be careful not to get stuck in Molasses Swamp and stay away from the sticky Lord Licorice!

Congratulations to Susie Aisner on being named High School Assistant Principal of the Year by Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals!
