I shared the 5Essentials Parent survey this week. If you have time, please support us by completing this survey which gives us valuable feedback. Your voice matters to us! You can also click here to complete the survey.

Students will be bringing home information for our Spring Fundraiser on Friday, February 28. We’ll be selling frozen pastries and cookie dough from Perfect Pastries. The fundraiser will run from February 28-March 17. Product pick up will be held at the school on April 9.

Hemos compartido una encuesta 5Essentials para padres esta semana. Si tienen tiempo, por favor apóyennos completando esta encuesta que nos da una valiosa retroalimentación. ¡Su voz nos importa! Hay una opción en español. Puede hacer clic aquí here para completar la encuesta.

Los estudiantes traerán a casa información para nuestra recaudación de fondos de primavera el viernes, 28 de febrero. Estaremos vendiendo pasteles congelados y masa para galletas de Perfect Pastries. La recaudación de fondos será del 28 de febrero al 17 de marzo. Recogida de productos se llevará a cabo en la escuela el 9 de abril.

Unfortunately we have had to change the date of the Cedar Ridge Bed Blitz. The company donating the mattresses was not able to make the 2/19 date. We have rescheduled the Bed Blitz for March 5 from 4:00-5:30 with delivery after.

Cedar Ridge is holding a 4 Week Basketball Skills Camp for both boys and girls in 4th/5th grade! It will be led by Coaches T.J. Smith and Levell Mables! Players from the Bloomington H.S. will be joining the coaching staff to mentor our 4th & 5th grade players!

During the camp, players will learn the basic skills of basketball, sharpen their skills they possess and HAVE FUN as a TEAM!

When: After-school on Mondays from 2:30 - 4:00 pm February 24 - March 17, 2025 Bus transportation home after each practice will be available upon request.

¡Cedar Ridge está llevando a cabo un campamento de habilidades de baloncesto de 4 semanas para niños y niñas en 4 º / 5 º grado! Será dirigido por los entrenadores T.J. Smith y Levell Mables. Jugadores de Bloomington H.S. se unirán al equipo de entrenadores para guiar a nuestros jugadores de 4to y 5to grado.

Durante el campamento, los jugadores aprenderán las técnicas básicas del baloncesto, perfeccionarán las habilidades que poseen y ¡SE DIVERTIRÁN como EQUIPO!

¡Ya es hora de apuntarse a nuestro Campus de Baloncesto!

Cuando: Después de la escuela los lunes de 2:30 - 4:00 pm 24 de febrero - 17 de marzo, 2025 Transporte en autobús a casa después de cada práctica estará disponible bajo petición.

Diversity club is on a break until April 7th. Students who are a part of Diversity club can plan to attend the final meetings on the dates below:

4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28th

All students participating in Reading club have received communication from Cindy Rodgers and attending the first day on February 11th. Reading club will take place on Tuesdays only until 4/29/2025. Reading club will take place from 2:30 - 3:45 PM.

There will be no reading club on the following dates:

2/19/25, 3/04/25, 3/25/25

All students participating in Math club have received communication from Cindy Rodgers and attended the first day on February 13th. Math club will take place on Thursdays only until 5/01/2025. Math club will take place from 2:30 - 3:45 PM.

There will be no math club on the following dates:

3/27/25, 4/17/25

All students participating in Wonder club have received communication from Cindy Rodgers and are attending the first day on February 19th. Wonder club will take place on Wednesdays only until 3/19/2025. Wonder club will take place from 2:30 - 3:45 PM.

PTO Spring Fundraiser Info Coming Soon!
Students will be bringing home information for our Spring Fundraiser on Friday, February 28. We’ll be selling frozen pastries and cookie dough from Perfect Pastries. The fundraiser will run from February 28-March 17. Product pick up will be held at the school on April 9.

Thanks to all of your support with the Read-A-Thon during the Fall, we were able to replenish playground equipment for the students. Proceeds from the Spring Fundraiser will be used towards technology upgrades for the building.

Los estudiantes traerán a casa información para nuestra recaudación de fondos de primavera el viernes 28 de febrero. Estaremos vendiendo repostería congelada y masa para galletas de Perfect Pastries. La recaudación de fondos será del 28 de febrero al 17 de marzo. Recogida de productos se llevará a cabo en la escuela el 9 de abril.

Gracias a todo su apoyo con el Read-A-Thon (Maraton de Lectura) durante el otoño, hemos sido capaces de reponer el equipo de patio de recreo para los estudiantes. Los ingresos de la recaudación de fondos de primavera se utilizarán para mejoras tecnológicas para el edificio.

You can call the attendance line at 309-557-4462 or email our secretary, Brooke Starr, at starrbr@unit5.org and the classroom teacher to report the absence. Be sure to include your child's name, grade, and reason for the absence.
