A Message From the Principal's Desk

Dear BMS Families,

At BMS we will wrap up October with a costume parade, homeroom celebrations and a halloween dance!

As the weather changes, please remind your child to bring gear that keeps them warm during outside recess.

Thank you to those parents and guardians who attended parent-teacher conferences. Teachers and staff appreciate the opportunity to connect with you regarding your child's learning! If you were unable to attend, please reach out to teachers and other BMS staff, with your questions and feedback, at anytime. Emails and phone numbers for all staff can be found on the BMS website.

Student Registration

Thank you to those parents who completed the online student registration at the start of the school year.

If you have not done so, your child will be unable to travel for school functions including field trips and athletic events.

First Trimester Celebration

This UW-Extension program provides fifth graders from throughout Chippewa County the opportunity to experience various aspects of the great Wisconsin outdoors..

Report Cards

The trimester ends on November 21st. Your child's report card will include feedback regarding their progress on first trimester learning targets.

The target-based grading scales converts to a letter grade (A, B, C, D, F) in Skyward and on report cards for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.

Similar to last school year, report cards will be accessed through Skyward Family Access under the Portfolio tab. A district email and phone call will notify you when they are available. You will also be able to print them from Family Access if you would like to. Upon request, we will send a print copy to you. Contact your school office if you would like to make that request.

Board Recognition

Congratulations to Ashton Rogge and Rebecca Anderson on their outstanding accomplishments as 8th-grade runners on the middle school cross-country team. Ashton has been one of the top three runners in every race he has run this season, including two with well over one hundred runners. Rebecca Anderson has finished in the top fifteen at all of the team’s meets this season and also ran in large meets including nearly two hundred runners. We are proud of their accomplishments and excited about their future as BHS cross-country runners!
