Theme: “Countdown to Winter Fun!”

Daily Incentives:

Monday, Dec. 16 – Cozy PJ Day

• Details: Students can wear their favorite pajamas to school. Encourage festive or winter-themed PJs!
• Productive Learner Focus: Reward students who come prepared with materials, start their work on time, and complete their tasks during class.

Tuesday, Dec. 17 – Winter Wonderland Hat or Headband Day

• Details: Students wear fun winter hats, holiday-themed headbands, or reindeer antlers.
• Productive Learner Focus: Celebrate students who show focus and perseverance in tackling challenging tasks or working independently during lessons. .

Wednesday, Dec. 18 – Fuzzy Sock and Slipper Day

• Details: Students can wear fuzzy socks or fun slippers (non-slip soles for safety!).
• Productive Learner Focus: Acknowledge students who collaborate effectively during group work or stay on task during independent learning time.
• Mrs.Claus and her elf will be providing a special treat... (shh it's a surprise)

Thursday, Dec. 19 – Holiday Colors or Ugly Sweater Day

• Details: Encourage students to dress in festive holiday colors or wear their most creative holiday sweater.
• Productive Learner Focus: Highlight students who actively participate in discussions, ask thoughtful questions, and demonstrate critical thinking in their lessons.

Friday, Dec. 20 – Winter Musical 1:00pm

• Musical Performance by all Parkwood Students. ( Families are welcomed to attend)
• Details: Dress your best for the performance! ( 6th grade must wear black)
• • PBIS Focus: Celebrate students who’ve consistently displayed positive behavior throughout the week.
