Pleasant Ridge Post 24-25
Week of November 18th-November 22nd
Hughes Highlights
Parent teacher conferences are this Wednesday and Thursday! As we approach the upcoming parent teacher conferences, I want emphasize the significance of this opportunity for open communication between you, your child’s educators, and our school community. Parent teacher conferences serve as a crucial platform to discuss your child’s progress, strengths, and areas of growth. It’s a chance to gain valuable insights into their academic and social development. By engaging in these conversations, we can work together to ensure your child’s success and address any concerns. Your input ins invaluable, and these conferences are a vital step in building a strong partnership between home and school.
Lost and Found...
As a reminder, if your student is missing any items, please check the lost and found. All unclaimed items will be donated after conferences.
Share Your Winter Holiday Traditions with Pleasant Ridge!
Dear Pleasant Ridge Families,
We are excited to invite you to help enrich our understanding of the wonderful diversity within our community! This winter, as part of our school-wide Community Meeting on December 6th, we are looking for presenters to teach students about the winter holidays celebrated between November and February by our Pleasant Ridge families. Whether it's a holiday you celebrate in your home or a tradition that is meaningful to your family, we invite you to share it with us.
If you are interested in presenting and sharing about your holiday tradition, please reach out to the Pleasant Ridge Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Team through Mrs. Hughes, Mrs. Harrison, or Mrs. Garin. Together, we hope to create a space that celebrates the unique cultures, traditions, and celebrations within our community.
Thank you for helping us make Pleasant Ridge a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone!
Warm regards,
Pleasant Ridge DEI Team

Winter Giving...
Saline Area Schools are proud to partner with local service organizations and groups to support families in need this holiday season. In our vestibule, you will find opportunities to donate coats and toys benefitting our community. Families in need of support are encouraged to reach out to school principals, social workers, or Saline Area Social Service. Support is available for all families enrolled at Saline Area Schools, regardless of income level and residency. We are happy to be a part of a generous community!
