Responsibility focuses on doing what you are supposed to do, perseverance, always trying your best, using self control, self discipline, thinking before you act and being accountable for your choices.

National Child Abuse Prevention Month recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect. Prevention services and supports developed by this collaboration can help parents, other caregivers, and communities protect children and strengthen families.

Congratulations to our 2024 Friends of Sam Houston Recipients. The Sam Houston Alumni Chapter hosts this great event each year, awarding selected Sam Houston Seniors with scholarships. The event was held Saturday, March 23rd at Second Baptist Community Center.

Sam Houston College and Career Fair was held on Wednesday, March 27th! It was a huge success! We had many college and career representatives on campus and the students engaged well with them. Check out some of the pictures captured from this great event!

April is National Poetry Month, 30 days of celebrating the joy, expressiveness, and pure delight of poetry.

Summer School will be held in June here on campus. Some students need to make up credits and will be invited to attend summer school. More information to come.
