The New Voice of Help Desk
There’s a new voice at the VISD Technology Help Desk…… Melissa Walters, Help Desk Manager! Melissa has been with VISD for 28 years and is excited to step into her new role as Help Desk Manager. We wanted to get to know Melissa a little better, so we asked her a few questions. Please join us in congratulating Melissa and read her answers below!
- What app on your phone do you use the most?
I probably use the Pinterest app more than any other. Not only am I about to begin a home remodel; I like to craft. Also, my grandbaby will be 1 year old very soon so we are planning his birthday party and I love to decorate for parties!
- What are you most looking forward to in the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years, I most look forward to retiring. My husband and I love to travel so we have plans to do more of that. I also want to spend more time with my grandbaby.
- If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would love to go to Germany and Czechoslovakia. My family is from there and I would love to see those countries.
- If you could wake up tomorrow having gained only one ability, what would it be and why?
If I woke up tomorrow having gained only one ability, I would like to be able to be in multiple places at one time. I would like to be able to be at work, babysit my grandbaby, work on my house, shop, and lounge in front of the tv all at the same time…lol!
- What is your favorite TV series, movie, or book?
My favorite movie absolutely had to be Grease. That is very strange because I
really do not like musicals, but I will stop on Grease every single time it is on…
no matter what part it is on. I love to sing and dance along with it!
