Each week, we challenge students, staff, and parents to a "Monday Mission." These missions are aimed at increasing relational capacity, modeling good social skills, and keeping all members of the Dix Street family connected. Give them a try and encourage your child(ren) to take part in our "Monday Missions!"

Student, Staff, & Parent Mission: Second-hand Compliments. This mission involves all of us intentionally speaking good of someone else when they are not around. Gossip is the opposite form of this and can be such a negative powerful force. Second-hand compliments helps us stay positive and see each other in a positive way. So, everyday this week go out of your way to talk positively about someone when they are not around!

Last week our kindergarten students celebrated the end of their first reading unit. They paraded up and down the hallways showing off some of their favorite books and wearing headbands that declared that they had officially become storybook readers. It was a great celebration!

A few Key reminders for pick up and drop off.

1. Please do not park in a parking spot.

2. Stay in your car and allow your child to enter your vehicle curb side.

3. If you are a part of the 3:40 Pick-up line do not enter until you are waved in by a staff member.
