May Weekly Update
Week of Monday May 13th
Message from the Principal
Dear Kimball Hill Parents,
It is with great excitement that we share our MAP Test results for the 2023-24 school year. With our emphasis on student attendance coupled with responsive and intentional teaching, Kimball Hill’s annual academic growth in Reading and Math nearly doubled! This level of growth is more than average for a regular school year. In fact, Kimball Hill’s among those schools with the highest academic growth in the District. We are SO proud of our students and teachers!!
As we move forward, our overall goal is to continue this level of academic growth and increase our overall achievement. Test results for 2nd-6th graders will be shared with families next week.
On behalf of Kimball Hill staff, we hope all Kimball Hill Moms, Grandmas, Aunts and Special Role Models had a wonderful Mothers Day!
As a reminder, this upcoming week starting TUESDAY is our special 'COUGARS' days , and we hope everyone will participate in the fun (click on the PDF below for details).
As always, please email me with any questions, concerns or feedback. We appreciate your continued support!
Warmly,
Michelle LaCamera

P.M. Procedures:
All vehicles using the front semi-circle should enter at the north end and exit at the south end; otherwise please feel free to use street parking.
Please continue to pull all the way forward to allow for a continuous, safe flow of cars.
Parents will need to remain in their car when their student(s) enters the vehicle.
Staff will assist to ensure your child gets to your car safely.
Please remind your child to enter the car on the side of the school, if possible.
To avoid a bottleneck, please consider parking along School Street other street parking, following street signs. Children can then walk to the car. Please be aware of blocking the driveways of private homes- this is prohibited. The RMPD will enforce parking restrictions. Parents are urged to adhere. There is also street parking or you may use the Jewel lot.
