Long-Range Facility Plan Survey
FPS Needs Your Input
Fargo Public Schools is seeking input from our entire community on the next steps for addressing the facility needs identified in our Long-Range Facility Plan. Over the past year, a team of parents, staff, students, and community members has worked together to develop a plan to improve and modernize the District's school facilities. We’ve heard from community members through committees, focus groups and meetings, and now we want to hear from you.
The Long-Range Facility Plan aims to support Fargo Public Schools’ mission by creating safe, inclusive, and effective learning environments that meet the needs of our growing community. This plan includes new school construction, consolidations, and updates to aging buildings to ensure each student has access to a supportive, modern educational experience and the same educational opportunities. Take the survey here.

Winter is Here!
All students need to wear boots. Our Kindergarten through second grade students also need snowpants in order to play in the snow. Snowpants are optional for grades 3 through 5. If you need any assistance with getting your child warm winter clothes, please contact our office.
Tardies/Absences/Appointments
- Tardies: Our first bell rings at 7:50. This is the time when students are allowed to go to their lockers, get a breakfast and go inside their classrooms. Students must be in their classrooms by 8:05.
- Absences: If your child will miss school please call the office staff at 446-2900 by 9:00 or email edattendance@fargoschools.org. If we do not hear from you our office staff will be calling to check the whereabouts of your child....your child's safety is always our number one concern. Being on time and having good attendance is crucial for learning. When a child is habitually absent/tardy, there is a negative impact on learning. If you are ever having trouble with getting your child to school, please call our or your child is feeling sick to often, please call the office. Our school counselor, Katrina Brekke or Kennedy Geller, would be happy to work with you and offer support and suggestions.
- If you need to pick up your child during the day, please come to the office to sign he/she out. The office will call your child out of his/her classroom. Due to district policy, we are unable to call your child out of the classroom before you have arrived at the school.
