Meet the Family Night
We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming Meet the Family night on September 26th from 4:30-6:30pm. This year, we're excited to try something new and fun with four different food trucks on site, offering delicious options for everyone to enjoy. Even better, they will be donating 10% of their proceeds back to the school to go towards enhancing our school's general resources such as gym equipment, music supplies and more!
Please join us for an evening of food, fun and community as we connect and celebrate a new school year together. It's a great opportunity to meet families and staff members while supporting our school community!
(A big shout out to Olivia B and Yara for creating the amazing poster above! We appreciate their creativity and willingness to help out!)
School Council Meeting
We would like to welcome everyone who is interested to join our School Council Meeting this coming Monday night at 6:30 pm in our library. This is a wonderful oportunity for you to get involved, share your ideas and help shape the future of the JD community! Your voice is important to us and we value your input on the various matters that will help enrich our students in the year to come. There will be a link sent out to those who prefer to meet virtually and childcare available. (Just let us know if you require it!)
Kindergarten Playground Installation
We are thrilled to announce that the installation of our new kindergarten playground is scheduled to begin this week! This project is finally coming to life, and we couldn't be more excited for our youngest students to soon enjoy this wonderful space. A heartfelt thank you to the FDK Playground Committee for their hard work and to our amazing community for your generous support in making this playground a reality!
National Day of Truth and Reconciliation (Orange Shirt Day)
A reminder that Monday, September 30th is National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.
