This week, some of our Grades 4-9 students enjoyed playing hockey with the École Citadelle Kodiaks to conclude their hockey program season.

We're exploring the possibility of a Hockey Recreation Program for Grades 4-9 during the 2025-2026 school year, running alongside our dynamic options.

• Options: Run at Legal School (if enough interest) or join the EC Kodiaks program (with limited spots).
• No experience needed: All skill levels welcome.
• Gear assistance: Access to affordable gear through Play It Again Sports.
• Fees: Approx. $150 (Legal) / $325 (Morinville), plus optional Rec Field Trips.

Sacramental Prep News-Reconciliation

We invite any children who are in Grade 2, or older, and their

parents to join us in beginning the faith journey in preparation of

the sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and First

Eucharist. We begin with the Sacrament of Reconciliation on

February 13, 2025 at 6:00 in the church. Please contact Kathy

At some point or another, I’m sure we can all think back to a time during our childhood when we struggled with our self-esteem. Being unsure of yourself, especially around others, can be a struggle for children and their self-esteem. The good news is that we can help with that!

We can play a huge part in helping to strengthen our children’s self-esteem and ensuring they face the world with a strong sense of self-worth with just a few easy steps such as:

• Taking time to help your child reflect on all of the things that make them who they are and why that makes them wonderful

• Making time each day to show them, unconditional love,

• Reminding them that they are strong and capable and that they have your support

Luckily, building up our self-esteem is often easier than we think! With our commitment, we can help instill a strong sense of self-esteem within our children so that they can feel confident to put their best foot forward every day.
