Welcome to the Board, Darcy!
OPEN CAMPUS LUNCH APPROVED FOR UPPER CLASSMEN
Incoming Livingston High School senior class president Vineeth Kanpa, vice president Jasmine Wang, and the Board of Education’s new student representative, Darcy Bialick, addressed the Board at its meeting last week to request an extension of the Open Campus Lunch policy, which allows junior and seniors to leave the LHS campus at lunchtime.
In asking for the extension, they cited very long cafeteria lines, lack of seating, and few instances of seniors abusing the off-campus lunch policy. Following their presentation, the Board unanimously voted to extend the privileges to juniors and seniors for the 2024-25 school year.
