Thank you for a great week! We have some of our biggest events of the year going on, including our Panda Drive Fundraiser and our Fall Festival which is this Friday! This week is also Red Ribbon Week, make sure you ask your child about the healthy choices they are making.

Upcoming Events:

• October 26 - Pumpkin Run
• October 31 - Dress up as your favorite book character OR show off your school spirit by wearing school colors/spirit wear on that day. Please adhere to the school dress code and leave masks & any weapons at home.
• November 1 - Staff Development Day, No School

Some parents have asked about the FSD bond on the November ballot and the impact it will have for our school. As a reminder, ballots should arrive in the mail the week of October 7th and Election Day is November 5th. Don’t forget to vote.

Fall Festival is THIS WEEK! Join us on Friday, October 25 from 5-9pm for day filled with autumn fun, festive game booths, and memorable moments for the whole family.

Pre-Sale Wristbands and Tickets will go home in Panda folders this Thursday. If you missed it, you can still purchase wristbands and tickets at the door.

Voting for our pumpkin decorating contest starts this Wednesday so be sure to drop off your pumpkins at the teacher's lounge that morning.

Our online auction is live, and special experiences and birthday marquees are up for grabs! Bidding closes on Friday at 8:30 p.m.

We still need parent volunteers for the ticket booth, set-up, breakdown, and obstacle courses. Please consider signing up for a 30-minute shift to help make this event a smooth success.

Safety is our number one priority at Acacia. We are asking all of our families and students to only use our designated entrance and exit gates for arrival and dismissal from school. The designated entrance and exit gates include the main Dorothy gate near the Kindergarten playground, and the gates that open to the parking lot. Please do not use our emergency gates that open to the field. We appreciate your support as we strive to keep our students safe.

The Champions for Children Block Party is coming up on Saturday, November 16th, from 9 AM to 1 PM. Join us for informative sessions, activities, and a chance for students to make up for an absence.
