Attitude of Gratitude
Mindsets Matter (At Home too!)
Hello Sunflower Families!
I am Mrs. Drinkert, the school counselor! Each month we will focus on one of the 7 Mindsets! November's Mindset is Attitude of Gratitude In class, your students are learning the four critical components of Attitude of Gratitude. Each week will focus on a different component. We are learning to treasure ourselves, be more grateful, thank it forward, and elevate our perspectives!
My challenge for you is to help your student(s) complete their Mindset of the Month Choice Board! This will give you the chance to help your student(s) grasp the concepts taught within Attitude of Gratitude while spending quality time together! When you and your student(s) complete items on the choice board, scan the QR code and post a picture to our Mindset of the Month Padlet so we can share how others are living the Attitude of Gratitude Mindset!

Lunch Notes
Please be mindful of the lunch procedures that are in place:
- If you are joining your child for lunch and bringing lunch, please remember that pop is not allowed in the lunch room. You may bring water, milk, juice boxes, or sports drinks. Better yet, have you tried the new lunches? Call in the morning to order and try a school lunch. You will not be disappointed.
- Students who bring a sack lunch to school need to bring a drink in their lunch or purchase a milk from the school. Students are not allowed to bring their classroom water bottles with them to the lunch room.
