Parent-Teacher Conferences, Thursday, November 2 (11:45-5:45)

We will be hosting parent-teacher conferences next week on Thursday, November 2. These will be done "open house" style, with teachers conferencing in or near their classrooms. Parents check-in with each teacher for about five minutes each. We ask that if you feel you need a more in-depth conversation you make an appointment so as not to keep other parents waiting. Student schedules and maps will be available at the door so you can find your way around. Unlike elementary conferences, these are not done on an appointment basis. Teachers meet with parents on a first-come, first-served basis. Feel free to bring your student to the conferences.

Halloween Costumes

Please be advised that we do not allow Halloween costumes to be worn on Halloween at Cascade.

Human Growth and Development Materials Preview Opportunity

Families are invited to preview curricular materials used to cover state human growth and development standards. They will be available to view from October 30 to November 3 at the Longview School District Office from 8:00am to 4:00pm, or on November 2 from 12:30 to 6:00pm at Cascade during conferences with PE/Health teachers. Below is a letter with more details, as well as a waiver form parents may complete if they are wishing to excuse their child from this instruction.
