Truman Elementary
Be TRU to Your School!
Happy New Year!
As we begin this second semester, please have students come prepared for the colder weather. We will be outside if the temperature/windchill is 32 degrees or above.
PLEASE READ:
Thanks so much for remembering building hours.
We open at 7:25 AM, as this is when teachers are here to supervise. Please do not drop off early or have your child walk to school early unless there is a required program or special event. The front oval may be used by cars in the morning, however this is a designated bus lane and is also used for special circumstances approved by the principal. You could easily get stuck and have to wait a few minutes for various situations. The north side of the school is the regular drop off location, or you may choose a spot off campus if preferred.
The students should be picked up at 2:50 if they are car riders, and unless you have arranged a location off campus for pick up, please use the north side drive as your dismissal location.
Thank you for being patient with other drivers as we navigate the busy times!

As a feeder school, Truman has the opportunity to help! If you would like to check out the website, please visit spudweek.org. You can see names of recipients from this year and view those from past years, donate to the cause, or find out all about this amazing student-led initiative!
