Welcome Back!
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome back to another exciting school year at Eastpointe Middle School! I hope you and your family had a restful and enjoyable summer. As we embark on this new academic year, I am filled with enthusiasm and anticipation for the wonderful opportunities and experiences that await our students.
At Eastpointe Middle School, we are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our dedicated team of educators has been working diligently to prepare for the upcoming year, and we are eager to support each child's growth and development.
We believe that strong communication and collaboration between home and school are essential for student success. To keep you informed and engaged, we will continue to provide regular updates through our newsletters, website, and social media channels. Additionally, we encourage you to participate in our various school events throughout the year.
Please mark your calendars for our upcoming Back-to-School Night on September 19, 4:00-7:00. This event will provide an opportunity to meet your child's teachers, learn about the curriculum, and gain insights into the year ahead.
As we prepare to welcome students back on the first day of school, August 26, 2024, we ask that you review the information outlined in this newsletter, which includes important information about school policies, schedules, and necessary forms. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school office at (586) 533-3600 or via email at Morgan.Reece@eastpointeschools.org.
Together, we can make this school year a memorable and successful one for all our students. Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
Warm regards,
Morgan Reece

First Day of School
We look forward to welcoming all students back to school on August 26, 2024. The school doors will open at 7:10am and all students will enter through Door 11. If your child is dropped off after 7:20 they must enter the main office doors to sign-in. August 26th will be a half day, and students will be dismissed at 10:50am. Although it is a short day, it is an important one. Students will spend the morning with their 1st hour teacher where they will receive their class schedule, participate in fun team building activities, get their ID badge, and practice important school-wide procedures. We look forward to seeing all 6th and 7th graders bright and early on Monday, August 26, 2024!
