Parent Student Teacher Conferences (October 3) ~ Forms & Info:
Please note that the Parent Student Teacher Conference Forms indicating whether or not an appointment is needed and detailing the process to self-select appointments on our online interview system were sent home with your son today, September 26 (paper).
If an appointment is requested, students in grades 2 through 6 need to be present.
Appointments must be booked with only those teachers who have requested an interview.
If your form indicates that an interview is not required at this time, please do not book an appointment, as the space is limited.
Here is the list of teachers' locations for the evening of October 3.
School Photos: Proof packages and student IDs were sent home with your son this afternoon, Thursday, September 26. Please order individual photos online at mylifetouch.ca (access code on the proof package) as soon as possible to avoid late fees. If your son was absent when the photos were taken, he is automatically signed up for Photo Retake Day on Thursday, November 14. If you would like your son’s photo to be redone, please send Ms. Manal an email to register him for Retake Day. More information will be sent to participants as the day approaches.
Parents in the school and Dropping items off for your son ~ Reminders: To ensure as safe an environment as possible, all parents are required to enter the school through the front entrance. All parents must sign in at the Front Office where they will pick up a Visitor’s Pass. Please return the Visitor’s Pass to the front office when you sign back out. Also, if you need to drop something for your son, items must be left at the front office. Thank you for your cooperation.
Orange Shirt Day during Truth & Reconciliation Week: All students and staff are encouraged to wear any orange shirt on Monday, September 30 to honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. A reminder that uniform pants and proper school shoes must be worn with the orange shirt. You may purchase a shirt via this Google Form. All proceeds will go towards an Indigenous organization in Kahnawake to be determined by the Indigenous Student Committee. If you have any questions, please contact Eden Schwartz.
Attestation Day: Reminder that Monday, September 30 is the official MEES attendance verification day. Your child’s/children’s attendance at school will alleviate significant paperwork for families and the school. For questions, email Ms. Kelli Poulin (poulink@selwyn.ca).

Mid-Term Break Camp (November 4-8): We are thrilled to explore the possibility of offering a camp throughout the mid-term break! This camp will provide students with an opportunity to learn new skills, have fun, and connect with their peers in a creative and engaging environment. To help us determine the level of interest and finalize our plans, we have attached a brief form for you to fill out. Your responses will help us gauge interest and ensure we tailor the camp to best meet the needs of our students. Please fill out the form here, by October 7.
All Weather Clothing: We will be spending as much time outdoors as possible, please make sure your son has proper outdoor clothing. A good pair of rain boots, rain pants and rain jacket will be important for the rainy days or days when the ground is wet.
