A note from the principal's desk...
Sending this out a bit early today so you had some time to sign up for softball as registration closes tonight and baseball closes tomorrow.
We also have the book fair on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during lunch. We will allow students who are SERIOUS shoppers only and limit the number in that area as it is smaller space. See information below.
Because temperatures will likely be all over the place in the coming weeks, please continue to send your kids to school in clothing that will keep them warm when they are outside at recess.
Have a great week everyone!
Yours in Rocket Pride,
Scott

Lavish Pay? No.
Fame and glory? No.
Working with some great kids and staff? YES!
It's a great time of day to see and be with kids!
Do you know someone who is interested? A grandparent that loves to hang out with kids? Can you do 1-2 days per week? The position would be from 11:00-12:30 daily. If you are interested, please let me know!

Sports Physicals
6th graders (our current 5th graders) can participate in Cross Country, Wrestling and Swimming/Dive at the middle school next year.
If your student is a 6th grader now, they must have a physical in order to start a sport.
Physicals must be dated after April 15th of 2022 in order to participate in the 2022-2023 school year.
Here is a great, inexpensive option for you! Physicals on the Fly being offered by local Physician Assistant and RP Parent Kilee Aamodt, PA-C.

100 Hours Challenge
The Reeths-Puffer Wellness Committee is challenging all staff and students (and families) to participate in 100 hours outdoors in the month of March. This challenge is inspired from 1,000 Hours Outside .
This is an attempt to match nature time with screen time. Children are spending an average of 1200 hours a year on screens. Let's work to encourage spending this time outdoors and shift towards a more productive and healthy outcome. :)
This challenge began on January 1. If you are feeling inspired to try 1,000 hours outdoors, that challenge runs through the end of the calendar year.
